About us

A volunteer department, run by and for the people of southeast Mayes County.

Who we are

Our guiding philosophy is simple: neighbors helping neighbors.

Every member of Chimney Rock Volunteer Fire Department is a volunteer who lives and works in or near the area we protect. We train together, maintain our own equipment, and respond when our community calls 911.

The department is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supported by donations, fundraising, grants, and Mayes County fire protection sales tax funds.

How we’re organized

The department is led by a chief and a line of officers responsible for operations and training. A board of directors governs the nonprofit.
